Advocating for Ourselves, Looking out for our Patients: The Quest for Physician Wellness

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the NY Society of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine will be holding our winter virtual meeting, where we can reconvene with our colleagues and friends in the region.

Advocating for Ourselves, Looking out for our Patients:

The Quest for Physician Wellness

Time: 2/10/22 6:30 pm

Speaker: Dr. David Marcus, MD

David Marcus serves as Chair of the Northwell Health GME Physician Wellbeing Committee, the group coordinating trainee wellbeing efforts for all 1,900 Northwell residents and fellows.

Given the recent passing of our colleague and friend: Dr. George Ofori-Amanfo, we will begin with a brief talk in remembrance of him by Dr.Sandeep Gangadharan. Following this we will have our featured speaker.

"Virtual Cocktails" from 6:00 to 6:30pm. During this time the meeting will be open for attendees to log in early and have open conversation. Feel free bring your beverage of choice.

Breakout Sessions: After our talk is completed we plan to have a few small group breakout sessions for discussion of various topics that are important to the practice of pediatric critical care.

As the meeting is virtual there will be no fee for attending.
